Kota Kinabalu: Bekas Ketua Menteri Tan Sri Harris Salleh menyokong penegasan kolumnis Harian Ekspres Datuk John Lo mengenai cabaran getir dalam menjalankan sebarang bentuk perniagaan di Sabah, di mana proses itu boleh berlanjutan selama beberapa minggu dan bulan.

Beliau berkata Lo menegaskan bahawa penjawat awam Persekutuan dan Negeri terkenal dengan rehat minum kopi mereka, secara rutin menasihati rakyat untuk kembali selepas beberapa jam dan mungkin beberapa hari. Daily Express Malaysia

“Perwatakan lazim ini merupakan ciri yang tidak dapat disangkal dalam landskap birokrasi Sabah,” katanya. Dia teringat bahawa Lo telah membuat tuntutan yang patut diberi perhatian pada Julai 2021, menyamakan tindakan menjalankan perniagaan di Sabah dan mendapatkan keputusan serta kelulusan dengan tugas yang kelihatan mustahil untuk memasukkan kerbau melalui lubang jarum.
