BANGKOK: Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn's second son has said he wants to return to the kingdom permanently after living abroad for more than two decades, in an interview published on Thursday (March 21).

BATU PAHAT: The supplier embroiled in the socks controversy has come forward to say that it was given 30 days to write to the Batu Pahat Municipal Council before any decision is made regarding its business licence.

"During the meeting, we were presented with a notice alleging non-compliance with our business licence conditions, specifically regarding packaging activities of stockings. "Our business licence therefore remains valid until the council considers our written submission," the statement read, adding that it was inaccurate to suggest that the company’s licence had been revoked.

Earlier, MPBP said the company had been issued a notice for its licence to be revoked and a notice of closure as its activities had gone against the council’s licensing terms.
