Snooker star Mark Allen, who once declared bankruptcy after making "some wrong moves", has topped the 2022-23 prizemoney leaderboard, following an exceptional season. A study by OLBG places him as the highest earner of the season, ranking him third in the current 2023/24 season, behind Ronnie O'Sullivan and Judd Trump.
Mark Selby, despite losing to Brecel in the final, still managed to pocket a cool £538,950, placing him third. The top five earners also include Judd Trump and Shaun Murphy, who raked in £501,400 and £441,000 respectively, reports Belfast Live. The 2023/24 season is set to wrap up in May, and so far, Judd Trump and Ronnie O'Sullivan are leading the pack, having already earned over £850,000 and £950,000 respectively. Allen follows closely in third place with earnings of £597,000 this season.
