The EFF is calling on the IEC not to take likely the allegations of racism in Wellington, Western Cape. sabcnews saelections2019 EFF IEC racism

However, IEC later dismissed the allegations saying voters were separated according to their registration status not race.

The electoral body says one of the lines was for those who were not registered in the area and had to fill forms before they could make their mark. An explanation EFF spokesperson, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, isn’t buying. He is calling on the IEC to deal decisively with the matter, saying the party ‘is not comfortable with racism.’The electoral body called on those with evidence of people having voted more than once to present it to the organisation.

The EFF leader, however, believes the move is not good enough. He is urging the electoral body to accept responsibility for its ink, which is said to be removable, and let the country into its confidence on how it plans to avoid such incidents in the future.
