The company wants more options for delivering packages.

Amazon said it would also pay these people the equivalent of three months of their most recent gross salaries when they were working for the company.
The offering follows the company's previous efforts to discourage its workers from staying if they don't want to stay. CEO Jeff Bezos talked about the company's "Pay to Quit" program in a shareholder letter"We want people working at Amazon who want to be here," an Amazon spokesperson toldThe program also lines up with Amazon's efforts to open up new delivery options.
Amzn delivery reliability has dropped pretty dramatically already. Number of late and lost packages are consistently getting higher from what I can tell...
So how much is the interest rate when they have to pay that 10k back
Walmart will eat his lunch once people see the service that inexperienced new business owners provide. How long before we read about a driver ditching packages because they can’t keep up? Or worse, criminal activities.
Cost of small used carrier would be higher than 10k. I would say smart move for amazon but let’s watch the output.
