The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial is expected to resume on Monday morning at the High Court in Pretoria, after a two-week break.

The third ballistics expert, Captain Malesela Ntini, is expected to return to the stand to continue his cross-examination.

Ntini accompanied ballistic analyst Chris Mangena to the crime scene the day after the murder. He is also one of the analysts who confirmed Colonel Mangena’s findings.Meyiwa was shot and killed while at the parental home of his former girlfriend and singer Kelly Khumalo in Vosloorus on Gauteng’s East Rand.

Defence counsel, Adv. Thulani Mngomezulu has criticised ballistic analyst, Malesela Ntini for not recalling some details when attending to the crime scene in Vosloorus on Gauteng’s East Rand.Ntini had told the court that he could not recall whether it was in the morning when he attended the crime scene in Vosloorus.
