The CBI has warned companies to step up their preparations. But where is the fury? asks John Kampfner, founder of the Creative Industries Federation

Boris Johnson, Brexit and no deal are now ingrained in the national psyche. The government is to launch a mass advertising campaign aiming to “prepare” us for crashing out of Europe. Blitz spirit. Tin hats. Nothing that a bit of optimism won’t solve.

peoplesvote_uk It’s time for EVERYONE with half an understanding of economics to come out against a no-deal. NotMyPM

My company supports a no deal Brexit. - The sooner the better. - Is that enough spine for you?

johnkampfner Yes . Come on MakeUK_ . We as members keep telling you that No Deal is a disaster . Shout it from the rafters. Extra customs charges, tariffs, delays at ports, finance required for stockpiling and warehousing. Must be a better way forward.

Again - shut the f*ck up. There’s a reason businesses can’t vote - it leads to corruption. Just like happens in the EU. Of course we all want the best for Britain but making money is not the only thing of consequence in life “for people” Business only exists to make money. QED

Dude. Most businesses don't have anything to do with the EU.
