KwaZulu-Natal will host the International Investment Conference at the Durban International Convention Centre in September. MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs Nomusa Dube-Ncube made the announcement at a breakfast briefing in Durban after engaging with business leaders. Dube-Ncube says the conference will bring some 800 potential investors to the province which will boost the local economy.
“Our investment conference will follow a theme of the aerotropolis. Some of the urgent infrastructures programmes that require urgent action includes the rail connecting King Shaka International Airport and the feeder notes such as Ballito, Durban, Pietermaritzburg. Through this annual international investor conference, we will showcase key investment opportunities that are available for international investors.
