So it's Subway!

Sucky Subway

why does this story from 2018 keep resurfacing lol

Was good til they went to pre sliced meat that smells like farts when you open the package. Inert gas?

It's Subway. savedyouaclick

It is the Catholic Church.

Yeap. I was disappointed in Baghdad Iraq, that I couldn’t order a Ham and Cheese sandwich.

This is from august 2018

This story is from 2018?

I thought that this was already common knowledge

Starbucks barely franchises at all. Domestically the only non company owned locations are the ones inside other businesses (grocery store, Target, etc) or in an institutional setting (university, airport, hospital, etc).

This isn’t newsworthy

TishaCM I’ll stick to my $JFC 😊

That sandwich looks like pure doo doo. Place complete garbage.

That doesn't look like subway in the photo, never seen ham round slices at a subway, looks good though

Subways downfall is at most of their stores you have to go inside. An they really should not have made the $5 foot long song, every thing seems so much more expensive since that slogan.

After you’ve had a Publix Sub, you WILL NOT want Subways..way overrated!

And ever since Subway knew about their pedophile, Jared, and did nothing about it until it was too late, I've not (nor will I ever again) eat at a Subway. I don't support pedophiles, which is why I don't support the GOP. Perhaps Dennis Hastert (R) or Mark Foley (R) eats there?

Subway?

taco bell

It's a good company - so good for them.

The most franchised companies are about affordability, available markets, and user-friendliness.

kuku27 True it is 'Subway all the way'

Really

Ohhh they're branches are diminishing in the Philippines

Subway

And there are so many better options.

Subway, but lower sales. Saved you a click

Well it couldn't be Starbucks because they don't sell franchises

Should be Mr Biggs

It's Subway. There, saved you a click.

watch those simple carbs and gluten, people!!! WalkAway

I have a secret Starbucks in my ass but it only serves soft serve chocolate ice cream. Come to think of it maybe it’s a Dairy Queen.

Poor leadership is the cause for all of this.

Subeay? Really

CRDRYCRDRY

I heard they started delivery which should boost sales. Definitely need innovation. Look at how many jobs were lost Terrible.

When you want an edge on those trivia games. CNBC your number one source. All the useless nonsensical info anyone could ever want.

Even a Pedo could not bring down Subway or yoga matt flavored rolls

Sub way may be bigger to me the food is not up to par and it’s counted out like don’t give to much of the good stuff the help should ware gloves. A few don’t and made too Then that’s just my take against ?

Anyone in rural America, where Subway is often the only eat-out choice (other than gas-station pizza), is not surprised ... and in fact assumes it to be the case.

Starbucks?

check the calories on those Subs...damn

Of course it's subway

It’s probably one of the companies in China like Luckin Coffee, etc...

Subway

So many of them closed on Long Island. Probably because we had real delis with better sandwich options. They actually make more money off of franchising than actual sales. Sad how these people eventually close up and lose their investment.

Not to mention the company had a Pedifile as their nTionSl spokesman

I read Subway chicken is only 50% chicken... plus all the subways near me are dead at lunch time

How often are you guys going to post this article

A sandwich is a sandwich is a sandwich!

And it's because they had the greatest pitch man

Their 'chicken' isn't even chicken. SubwaySucks

Companies making America fatter everyday

Dunkin Donuts? I’m too lazy to read your article.

damnit I forgot dinner

It is Subway! They are going only for new Partners and new Shops... Suck out the Money of the Partner because Subway is not rentable - the Partner close the store and they are looking for an other stupid franchiser which is Willing to Burn his money! Poor franchise Partner... 🙈

Shak

Warteg kharisma

By the pic must b subway with so little toppings

I just wish they put more meat in their sandwich

It’s been Subway for a long time

Subway

fractal_hunter and it's pretty shit for profit. in fact a lot of franchises are pretty bad deals. do your due diligence before losing 300k+ and your house lmao

Jersey Mikes is so much better!!!

I thought it was 7-11 worldwide

That is true Subway is the most franchised but too many locations and over saturation in markets like the USA and UK has caused a lot of franchisees to struggle. They may hold the crown now but it could change in years to come.

parosemena

Everyone already knows it's subway

Just proves you don’t have to serve good food to be successful

kind of weird that Subway is the number 1 food franchise and the Catholic Church is the number 1 church franchise.

News to me, Subway averages $400,000 per store, Chick fil A is over $4,000,000 per store, McDonalds is about $2.5 million....Subway not to good (2018 data), but does have more stores...

Another reason for sales decline their rewards cards now “require” online registration. Why make it harder to be a loyal customer?

CNNBC, Starbucks is company owned.

It is subway, who regularly lets immigrants open their own store, then after it becomes successful, .SUBWAY steals it from them. If you think I'm lying, remind yourself that Subway made a child molester the face of their franchise.

I never guessed that SUBWAY has the most franchise locations worldwide. 🙂

That's disgusting!

SUBWAY

SUBWAY

Subway? Really?

Well, their food sucks!!!

it’s ms13

Our mission at is to build the social media platform that ends fake news

That’s because Subway does not give you a protected area, so one can open across the street from another. Bad model....

Amazing as their food is goddamn awful.

I'm sorry but Subway sucks.

kuku27 Subway had 43,912 stores around the world, beating second-place McDonald’s at 37,241 and third-place Starbucks at 27,339 locations.

Interesting...

Gas station location are everywhere. Idk how they supply them nor how they’re profitable.

Starbucks is not a restaurant its a coffee shop.

Are any of those people who were asked this question on twitter...?

kuku27 Very interesting comparison of largest fast food chains over the years, must watch

I ate once at subway and I won't eat again.. Food is awful

Good job 👍🏻

Texas Toms

I worked at one. Never order the tuna. Trust me.

sakuk2001 When did 'We have the most locations' become a valid selling point? Once upon a time it was 'We have the best food' or 'the healthiest food' or at least 'the tastiest food'. Now the marketing is 'Hey, we're easy to find'

Bring back subway to indonesia

And what is that smell

I tried several times subway, but didn’t appreciate it. McDonald’s is way better. It’s not all about food itself. Interior atmosphere is more important, but Subway really has no taste in this. You never like to meet anyone there.

It's expensive that's the problem

Subway

Well, not in Indonesia.

Starbucks? I'm assuming they mean outlets rather than cities.

Subway

Too much congestion at peak times

I gave up on eating subway's as little meat. Ads show it all piled to the camera side of the sandwich. A BMT taste like a veggie.

I tried Subway once in a while during the first 3 or4 years they were open. The same issue every time. Fresh items but substandard quality, even the tomatoes and lettuce. 😎👎

McDonald's

KFC

Apparently they don’t know Jared liked (and payed) for them young. Or, they don’t care.

Jersey Miles has far better sanwhiches than SUBWAY.

Subway

Subway, I already knew that.
