And the AUPE note the cuts being carried out by Revera Inc. is even more ill-timed in light of the federal government’s announcement in Calgary on Wednesday of a $115 million investment to boost the sector in Alberta, including staffing levels.Sign up to receive daily headline news from the Calgary SUN, a division of Postmedia Network Inc.By clicking on the sign up button you consent to receive the above newsletter from Postmedia Network Inc.

Union & it's members are just as quilty. It seems some of the staff spend more time on their phones then caring for the clients. Screaming at the vulnerable doesn't help matters either. There is some great staff, but sadly there is a lot of untrained deadwood. See it every day.

It's all about maximizing profits! Owners don't care about residents let alone staff.
