Eight captive-bred lions killed in North West

North West police are investigating a case ofIt is believed that the lions were poisoned before their paws and jaws were hacked off.

“We can confirm that a case of illegal hunting has been opened after eight lions were allegedly killed. We don’t have more information at this stage but we can confirm that the incident occurred at one of the farms in the vicinity of Swartruggens, although the case has been opened in Koster. At this stage, no one has been arrested and investigations into the matter continue,” says police spokesperson, Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone.

I wish lions could be given a fighting chance too, give those killers a spier instead of a gun and then they can kill all the lions they want then...

One thing for sure their bones are distant for china and guess who will be blamed , an African man . We dont own this animals but when things go wrong we get blamed but when things go right settlers and land thieves gets congratulated .

The first offence ought to be keeping wild animals in captivity. Had the capture not kept them in captivity, those who killed them may not have achieved this high number at once

Look at the owner too,sick n tired of blacks taking blame for these wyt tr$h looking for an easy score!!!!

Just like how these in humane people have killed these beautiful lions ..i wish they get caught and must be fed to other lions as a meal..our sentences and fines are to leneant ..they must be put back into a lion den and fed back as a meal as punishnent
