Magic Millions co-owner Katie Page says the Magic Millions Racing Women bonus promotes for women to be "part of this industry” as the initiative has brought “3,500 new women into racing in this country”. The $500,000 dollar Racing Women bonus is an initiative only on offer to female owned or leased horses, and aims to open up the racing industry to women across the world such as syndicate member Elaine “Legs” Lawler.
‘It’s All About the Girls’ and Director of Goffs, Ms Lawler said the initiative started by Katie Page, incentivised her and forty other like-minded women across the world to start a syndicate and purchase the cheap philly, ‘Global Glamour’ who became a multiple group one winner. Ms Page said the support from the women behind 'Global Glamour' and the initiative itself was “quite inspiring”.
