08/01/2020Magic Million co-owner Gerry Harvey has spoken with Sky News about the generous donations raised through the spectacular Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival, with funds going to the tragic victims of Australia’s bushfire crisis. "This is the most exciting time of the year for people in the horse industry," Mr Harvey said.

Mr Harvey spoke of the "tragic" bushfire crisis gripping the nation but said one positive is that hundreds-of-thousands of dollars is being raised for those in need. "The bushfires are tragic, it affects a lot of people...[but] it’s important that business keeps going". The showcase race meeting takes place on Saturday January 11 from the Gold Coast Turf Club.
