Business Unity South Africa (Busa) is hosting its second Business Economic Indaba on Tuesday.

Negative outlook for the economy in 2020

Organised business has pledged its support for Ramaphosa and says it will stand by him if he takes tough decisions while the economic outlook worsens. Busa president Sipho Pityana implored the president not to govern by consensus, but to instead take decisive action to revive the economy.“None of the [economic] choices that need to be made are easy. They all comprise all sides: government, business and labour.”
