I don't think the Minister said the resolution was a mistake, he said 'we adopted a wrong resolution', call it semantics, there is a difference, both in meaning and context! The resolution is not wrong or a mistake in itself but not advisable and necessary as it's cosmetic!

MYANC must move to change the constitution which will drive a change to the the mandate of the SARB and SARB Act. Nationalising without changing mandate will be pointless, hence Ntate tito_mboweni is perplexed as to the intention/rationale of the MYANC

I think a comparative analysis needs to be done in relation to other emerging or developing African countries to justify the SARB Nationalisation debate/arguement. Let's look at the mandate of SARB and our fellow emerging countries before a resolution should be implemented. My 5c
