Airlines and other travel companies are offering limited flexibility to travelers worried about coronavirus, and some restrictions still in force leave travelers paying what amount to virus fees.
United Airlines even changed its rules over the weekend to make it harder to get refunds, then altered the rules again Tuesday night to make them more vague, demonstrating how chaotic and confusing the whole situation can be for travelers.
Alaska puts the refund (sort of) in a credit account for future use up to February 2021. I'm likely to fly elsewhere between now and then but it's better than being told to get lost. I hate flying like I hate cleaning up after the dog, but sometimes unavoidable. Drive if you can.

Fly_Norwegian will NOT give credit if you cancel tix & have NOT waived change fees. US State Dept issued level 3 travel advisory for global travel & its a global pandemic but Norwegianair will not refund nor give credit unless country is banned.
Isn’t the credit good for a year after the cancellation rather than the original flight dates?

Boycott them when things get back to normal.
and many are offering jack if you booked your travel before the virus situation escalated in March. So if you knew it's bad and bought tickets anyways you get something. If you didn't know then you're out of luck.
