Some Atlanta small-business owners are caught off-guard by Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp’s decision to allow some nonessential businesses to reopen as soon as Friday

ATLANTA—Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp’s order allowing some nonessential businesses to reopen as soon as Friday is being met with skepticism by many residents and business owners here, while some outside the metro area welcomed the effort to restart the stalled economy.

Georgia’s rollback of restrictions was the broadest yet in the South, where governors are testing how far and how quickly to relax stay-at-home orders that were put in place to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

There is a trend. Democratic Governors don't have a clear& defined plan to re-open but, Republican Governors have plans how they are going to re-open business & commerce. Appearances are more important &looking tough to Democratic leaders than good leadership to start their econ

Is any business forced to reopen?

Wow, that's a new level of double think, reopening a business is bad for business.

Business’ like to be able to plan, off the cuff changes like trump & kemp are pulling don’t help anyone except trump & kemp (but they may kill many of GA residents )

Go tell the family that can't afford food or housing because they lost their job that their work isn't essential.

Businesses are resilient and hungry. They would rather then OPEN, then closed with more notice.
