I love the way the word ‘hospitality’ has been appropriated by the alcohol industry these days. In my day the word meant welcoming guests with a cuppa, a bicky and maybe somewhere to rest. Now it means getting punters rat-arsed at their own expense.
Absolutely right they should. They’ve spent money to be “covid secure” during a complete downturn of biz; only to be thrown under the bus by BorisJohnson because MattHancock failure to deliver test/trace. One case has be traced to a pub. Focus on care homes.
