Amid spiralling prices, the government is under pressure to take further action, with splits over the potential to raise money through a 'windfall tax' on the profits of oil and gas companies.

Just scrap the green levies & remove VAT from energy, halve duty & VAT on fuel and reduce general VAT to between 12.5% - 15%. This would help business, schools, hospitals, logistics and others rather than throw money at people which won't change costs. MPIainDS RishiSunak
