The Canadian PressHealth Canada is proposing to introduce mandatory front-of-package nutrition labelling for foods high in sodium, sugar and saturated fat.
Real ground beef is far healthier than 'beyond' beef, which is heavily processed garbage.
What does it matter? Do they think people are going to stop buying ground beef? If they stopped selling it today, every house in Canada would have a meat grinder tomorrow.

This is probably because of blending of ground beef by many retailers to reduce cost and increase profits. Some ground beef out there has the taste of a pair of wool socks.

Hmmmmm. I think before we put health warnings on packaged beef, we need to put them on EVERY processed food package that uses preservatives. I'm sure this is being pushed by Gates in order to position his lab meat and plant based meat to sell better.

Animal farmers are opposed to any regulation or discussion of the animals they use, the environmental damage their methods cause, or any changes that may benefit the consumer/animals. Red + processed meats are carcinogens, Health Canada suggests eating plant proteins more often.
