But the tribunal rejected those arguments, saying the three-way arrangement stipulates that Shaw would first transfer Freedom to Videotron, and that Rogers would only then acquire the remainder of Shaw through an amalgamation arrangement.

Here we go again, higher prices for Canadians. Stupid Canadian government.....

Best solution: let them all merge (even Bell, Telus) but allow US competitors in - that will best serve Canadian consumers.

Justin better not blow this one. The new adage; “Better the gong show you know,” will take him only so far once the next campaign starts. Canada’s most intermittent network is large enough already. And our Bizarro World Competition Bureau is a waste of money.

Just as well disband that useless waste
