Two company vehicles were destroyed and tires on 10 vehicles were punctured, police in Lancaster County said.

A man who recently lost his job at a Lancaster County plumbing business ignited multiple fires on the property and damaged or destroyed company vehicles, police said. John D. Hays, 36, of Akron, lost his job at Benjamin Franklin Plumbing & Heating in East Hempfield Township on Monday, and committed the crimes two days later, according to township police.

Police said Hays set multiple fires outside the building Wednesday and punctured 25 tires on 10 vehicles. Two of the vehicles were destroyed in the fires. If you purchase a product or register for an account through one of the links on our site, we may receive compensation.
