Welsh Water boss defends record on pollution

"They're actually in some of the best conditions in comparison to other parts of the UK.""My pay is not determined by me, it's not influenced by me."I'm pretty much the lowest paid of my equivalence in England and Wales.", once a leading river for fishing, would be devoid of salmon in 10 or 20 years."By 2026 all the major phosphate pollution loads from Welsh Water assets will have been dealt with," he said.

But he conceded that "in principle" it was right to say that others could still be pumping phosphates into the Wye."It's going to need a multi-sector approach," he added.

£332,000 plus pensions and bonuses for a non-for-profit water supplier CEO. That's apparently the lowest figure among other industry bosses.

Cannot prevent a little stream in Broad Haven from frequently contaminating the beach, which frequently has a lot of kids playing on it.

Such a pity, I foolishly thought Wales Senned would block these deregulations. Welsh water is one of the best water imo in the uk. Big disappointment

It's just raining, folks

'Compared to England........'

Can't stop a tiny stream in Broad Haven from regularly polluting the beach which often has many children playing on it.

Sh!t...

they'll complain if the pipework is re-routed from the rivers to their homes. they'll kick up a fuss if it's dumped in their ponds, gardens or on their doorstep. but because it's somewhere else, it's ok. SundayMotivation sundayvibes environment pollution

Completely wasteful.
