A man was rescued after both of his legs were trapped in a Franklin County industrial accident Monday morning.

Madison Montag | mmontag@pennlive.comFirst responders were sent to TB Wood’s, a Chambersburg manufacturing plant, at 10:52 a.m. Monday for reports of an employee who was trapped between a rail car and conveyor track.

Multiple torch cutters, airbags, rams and rail car lifters were used during the rescue, according to theOther surrounding agencies responded to the scene as well, including Maryland State Police helicopter Trooper 1 and the Maryland Shock Trauma “GO-TEAM.”There is no word on the man’s condition or severity of injuries at this time., TB Wood’s was founded in 1857 and has grown to become a global leader in the design and manufacturer of industrial couplings and belted drive solutions.
