EXCLUSIVE: Sky News can confirm Defence Minister Christopher Pyne and Defence Industry Minister Steven Ciobo are set to announce they will not be recontesting the next election.

The two ministers will make the announcement on Saturday, which could leader to a broader ministerial reshuffle in coming weeks. In an exclusive interview with Sky News host Laura Jayes, Mr Ciobo said he would like to see a woman replace him in his Gold Coast seat of Moncrieff, and warned politics is a ‘tough business’ that is ‘anti-family'. It actually means they rite with a larger payout as they left on the higher minister pay than a much lower basic MP pay rate. All pollies from all parties do this when the can.
