The City of Calgary announced on Wednesday through X, formerly known as Twitter, that it's charging the catering company responsible for the E.

coli outbreak connected to a daycare earlier in September with bylaw infractions, but that no criminal charges have been laid at this time. Premier Danielle Smith responded to this by saying the Calgary Police Service has to make their own decision whether to press charges.
