A hidden gem spot in Glasgow's south side, which has only been open a year, has already been named as one of the top 50 cocktail bars within the UK. The team at LUNAR, which is found in Strathbungo, have been winning plaudits for their fun approach to making complex drinks.
The bar owner stated that cocktails are their forte, describing them as their "rocket ship to flavour exploration", with a menu of their original creations, with fun names like 'Lunarzade Sport' and 'Bottled by Blobby' readily available for anyone popping in to try some incredible examples. He added: "Our approach to cocktail making is highly technical liquids with complex flavours, but yet they’re still super fun and approachable to drink.
"This ferment is then turned into a cordial using sugars and acids. Once this is ready we add it to our Woven Whisky infused with meadowsweet tea, and white port, and then topped with soda and garnished with a lemon wheel."
