MEC Radzilani was responding to a shooting incident that took place in Zebediela, in the outskirts of Lebowakgomo, where 4 people were shot and killed. According to reports, 2 taxi drivers, a passenger and a passerby were shot and killed, this morning, Wednesday 27 March 2024, at the Disco intersection, in Zebediela.

The MEC has condemned this incident, as a pure act of crime, and indicated that ‘it undermines the efforts by both Government and the taxi industry, of creating a peaceful and reliable public transport system for our people”.
