A family dog has been mauled to death after two other dogs broke into a yard in Perth — and it’s not the first time the aggressive canines have killed. Mum Samar and her daughter were woken up on Saturday by the sound of their Pomeranian, Rocco, being mauled by two neighbouring dogs.
Family devastated after dogs known to be dangerous dug into yard and killed Pomeranian. They ran outside to save Rocco, but there was nothing they could do. “My daughter watched everything,” Samar said. “Yesterday, I couldn’t put her to sleep or anything.” Rocco had lived with his family just two weeks. The dog brought joy to the family — especially to Samar’s daughters, aged eight and four. Having to explain to her daughters that Rocco had died was excruciating, Samar said.
