Clive Palmer has agreed to pay back millions of dollars he owes to hundreds of workers following the collapse of the Queensland Nickel refinery in Townsville in 2016.

The controversial businessman maintains neither he nor his companies were responsible for the dismissal of more than 500 workers. He says his company has $400 million to 'pay back' the workers who are out of pocket.
