Emerging businesses in the Buffalo City Metro in the Eastern Cape have raised concerns about the spate of cash in transit robberies that seems to be increasing in the province.On Monday, the N6 between East London and Komani was blockaded for over seven hours due to a cash-in-transit robbery.

NAFCOC Youth Chairperson in the Buffalo City Metro, Bohlale Buzani says these robberies have a negative impact on businesses. The efforts made by law enforcement agencies in this matter have been widely commended, as provincial Hawks spokesperson Yolisa Mgolodela explains.
