Police have arrested a fellow police officer who allegedly killed six people for insurance claims purposes.
43-year-old Sergeant, attached to a police station in Limpopo, had insured the lives of the six deceased and cashed out upon their alleged murders. “We were approached as the SAPS on allegations that one of our own was involved in insurance-related matters victims were known to her. They were mostly from the disadvantaged and underprivileged backgrounds and they trusted her and she pocketed at least R10 million.”The National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola has welcomed the arrest. Masemola says the involvement of our own in such heinous crimes is a disgrace.
