Ontario gives succor to Hudson’s Bay activist richardbeales1

Activist investor Jonathan Litt on June 18 lambasted a C$1.74 billion bid to take Canadian retailer Hudson's Bay private as"woefully inadequate."

Litt’s Land & Buildings Investment Management said in a letter that if the buyout group used the entire proceeds from asset sales it could raise the offer to C$18 per share without having to invest more capital.
