During the Waymo trial, Kalanick conceded that Uber needed to develop self-driving cars if it hoped to maintain its early position as the world’s largest ride-hailing service. Uber has been an unethical company from day one. It muscled it’s way into cities around the world without getting licenses or permits and fought everyone using lawyers and PR with it’s deep pockets. I never use them.
