'We're terrified': The company that makes Calvin Klein and Guess jeans is forcing workers to head back into a full-capacity office or be fired

, which designs, produces, distributes, and in some cases owns high-profile brands like Calvin Klein, Guess, DKNY, and Tommy Hilfiger is currently enforcing a return to its New York office at full capacity. G-III employs more than 6,000 employees in the US, according to its 2019 10-K filing. All associates in the company's Manhattan headquarters were officially called back to work on September 8, after plans to return on August 3 were pushed back a month.

Business Insider spoke to six G-III employees in New York about their experience returning to the offices. These employees, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to fear of retaliation from their company, had their identities verified by Business Insider.Retaliation for not coming into the office According to communication from HR, failure to cooperate with the minimum work from office days can result in consequences from the company.
