Christiano Grootetjie to be laid to rest sabcnews

Two suspects aged 24 and 29 have appeared in court on charges of murder and attempted murder.

Five-year-old Valentino Christiano Grootetjie, who died last week when he was struck in the head by a stray bullet inside his parents’ house in Lavender Hill on the Cape Flats, will be laid to rest on Saturday. The funeral service is to take place at the local primary school. A 22-year old-man who was shot in the same incident, is recovering in hospital.

Two suspects, aged 24 and 29, have appeared in court on charges of murder and attempted murder. Police Minister, General Bheki Cele is expected to attend the funeral service.
