Anyone who has the subsidy available should go rooftop domestic solar and stop letting these vermin gouge you. Pull as much out of their profit margin as you can. If you can afford it also include a battery and off grid switch so you can withhold capacity on your terms.

There are no more sitting days left? How will they legislate this? auspol

Have a guess why electricity is so dear, no no no it isn't privatization as the government said this would bring the price down. Hmmmmmm 🤔

It's more a program to allow government to fund new coal fired power stations to look after their mining mates. Crony capitalism is alive and well in Australia. The people will still pay through the nose for privatised power.

They promised in 2013 to lower power prices once they took over from labour by abolishing the “carbon tax” and $550 back in peoples pockets... HMMMM Power prices up 15% since! More lies! 6 years of nothing on energy and climate policy! Get rid of this government

Stop subsidising so-called 'clean energy.' It pushes up prices and is not a viable alternative. Build new coal fired power stations. Encourage the Greenies to go off grid & supply their own power by solar or whatever. They'll burn through money & still freeze to death in Winter.

REALLY DESPERATE NOW! After doing nothing for 6yrs, now it’s action stations. This is an unfulfilled promise from 2013 being recycled!

Regulations becayse they can't win in the House of Reps - because the LNP is no longer the government. It is refusing to abide by Westminster Convention and resign when it loses control of the Lower House. Anarchists in blue ties. pretending to be 'conservative'.

Mt Etna erupts and spews out more carbon dioxide than humans have emitted in the last 100 years, and the Greens and Labor don't mind killing us with huge energy bills if it means we meet their arbitrary targets, even though it will have zero impact on climate change.

Funny how they try and work for the People when their Jobs are on the line...

Better check the bullshit readings...

THESE 2 DICKHEADS WILL WANT YOU TO THINK THEY HAVE THE ANSWERS THEIR PLAN IS TO SAVE YOU ONLY $4.00 per Week BIG DEAL. When not long ago it was going to be $850.00 per Year $16.34 per Week. THESE LIBERALS HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING. JUST MORE LIES

I note they usually claim double that, $550 when making up numbers. When they say $218 does that make it sound less made up!?

First removing carbon tax to reduce bills Then NEG Then Big Stick Now this half baked whatever.. Get a life guys.

These fools have got no idea.

Come on!! Don’t go back slapping over that small reduction for 15% of people. Make some real changes clean coal, gas reserves and nuclear ffs.

No good enough - government must return to being owner operator of utilities companies such as power, gas and water so that charges are not exploited by private profiteers with no true care what consumers pay

What is the base price before discount? Why do I think this could be bull shit? Does this rely on the Libs winning Gov?

Interesting to say the least ...

Not content with lying numerous times concerning energy prices (beginning with the scrapping of the Carbon Tax which we were promised would reduce prices - it didn’t) they continue to flog a dead horse rather than dare challenge the viability of their donor’s product (coal).

More bullshit from the BULLSHITERS Angus get back out the paddock Scummo get back under the rock your a pair of shonks U KNOW IT WE KNOW IT auspol BootThemOut ELECTIONNOW Libfilth

Waffle

😂😂😂😂😂 How long will this last?

218? A year? Still waiting for the 550 Abbott promised 🙄

Great Work Prime Minister Morrison and Minister Taylor 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

.....10 years without an energy policy and what do scomo and friends come up with?.......a price control mechanism......also known as socialism.......the modern liberal party is now so corrupted it's playing for the other team.....

Not enough We need a leader who is brave enough to say no to the UN and Paris accord

I can an election coming

how fucking dumb, just cut out this renewable bullshit and leave the UN.

Liberals FAIL as no future energy policy for future- Labor fail too- but Laborites too stupid to realize 45% emissions increase & $10BN RET is NOT an Energy policy.

Govt can’t fund coal fired power plants without parliamentary approval | Sky News AustraliaThe federal government cannot fund new coal-fired power plants without parliamentary approach, according to new legal advice. \n\nThe Australia Institute obtained the advice that indicates the plan to underwrite new forms of power including coal, could not be enacted unless there is supporting legislation. \n\nAmendments put forward by the Greens that prevented public money being used to underwrite coal forced the Coalition to pull its 'big stick' energy legislation last week. \n\nThe Coalition's 'big stick' divestiture policy is designed to crack down on energy providers convicted of misusing their market power and, in extreme cases, force the removal of assets in order to drive prices down.\n\n\n keep spitting on coal power bloody idiots. NSW festival cancelled due to state govt imposing ‘excessive rules’ | Sky News AustraliaNSW music festival Psyfari has been cancelled due to the state government imposing ‘excessive rules’ and a fee of $200,000 for extra police security. \n\nThe festival organiser claims the music festival industry is being ‘deliberately killed off’ by the NSW government. \n\nJournalist Mike Jeffreys says, ‘If it were it up to me, I‘d be inclined to come down more heavily on the individual. I am so much against this idea of imposing a one-size fits all solution.’\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Or would that be the drug taking industry? Correct. There's no reason for Police & police sniffer dogs to police people for personal possession or use of MDMA. Drug/Pill testing reduces risks & harms just like what's afforded to food & alcohol. Politicians policy is the problem & they're causing more harm than events. I would have thought the idiots doing drugs at the Festivals were to blame for the crackdown...or am I wrong? And what about the promoters turning a blind eye in the first place? No let's just blame the Govt, much easier than addressing the actual problem.
