Liverpool's Hidden Christmas Market Gems

The Liverpool Christmas Markets have opened but there are plenty of hidden festive gems if you know where to look. Smaller markets pop-up every year without fuss offering all of the same hand-made goods and delicious food we've come to love. Luckily, you won't have to venture into the city centre to enjoy yourself as more and more seem to pop up around the region every year.

Whether you're in the mood for a quick drink at one of the cosy-themed bars or a massive helping of food from a range of continental stalls, you'll be spoiled for choice. So grab your big coat and treat yourself to a relaxed and cosy evening. Below are a range of smaller, uncommon markets you can enjoy in the lead-up to Christmas. Gravity Max Terrace Located on top of the Gravity Max entertianment complex, The Terrace will host a range of Christmas stalls. Expect candles, dreamcatchers, gin, jewellery and more from various independant businesses. Taskers Christmas Markets Starting this Saturday and every weekend until December 8, the Taskers outdoor space will be home to 15 local business. There will be bands and a food hall, along with entertainment and photo opeprtunities for families to get into the festive spirit. Croxteth Hall and Country Park The final Makers Market of the year will bring together a range of independent artisans, bakers, crafters and performers from across the North West. There are also various activities in the lead up to the market including storytime with Santa and 'Santa Paws' for pets. Buyers Club Market and Winter Wine Fayre The pizza and pasta kitchen is rekinfling its market for a second year. Guests have the oppertunity to peruse a selection of hand-crafted items while chowing down on some delcious food from the Buyers team. The same evening, if you want to stick around, the venue will host a wine fayre for a festive tipple.
